DTC    B2085    Communication Error from Driving Support ECU to VSC ECU

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when CAN communication between the driving support ECU and brake booster with master cylinder (skid control ECU) is interrupted.
This circuit consists of the driving support ECU, brake booster with master cylinder (skid control ECU) and seat belt control ECU. DTC B2085 is stored when the seat belt control ECU detects an interruption in CAN communication between the driving support ECU and brake booster with master cylinder (skid control ECU).

The brake booster with master cylinder (skid control ECU) detects an interruption in CAN communication between the driving support ECU and brake booster with master cylinder (skid control ECU) for 1 second or more.
  1. CAN Communication system
  2. Power management control ECU
  3. Seat belt control ECU

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT:
This circuit uses CAN communication. Therefore, be sure to check that the CAN communication system is normal before performing inspection (Click here).

1.CHECK DTC OUTPUT (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)
  1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

  1. Check for DTCs.

    OK:
    CAN communication system DTC is output.



NG
GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (Click here)
OK


2.CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM)
  1. Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: Body / Pre-Crash / DTC.

  1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

  1. Check for DTCs.

    OK:
    DTC B2085 is not output.



NG
REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU (Click here)
