DTC    C1658    Speed Sensor Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the parking assist ECU receives a wheel speed sensor (front speed sensor RH or front speed sensor LH) abnormality signal from the brake control system via CAN communication.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK DTC OUTPUT

  1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

  1. Check for DTCs (Click here).

    Result:
    Result
    		Proceed to
    DTC C1658 is output
    		A
    DTCs are not output
    		B

    HINT:
    1. The DTC is stored when a malfunction occurs in the brake control system.
    2. If troubleshooting and repair of a malfunction in the brake control system has been completed, DTC C1658 will not be output again when rechecking for DTCs.
    3. If DTC C1658 is output frequently, duplicate the problem symptoms and perform the inspection again, even though the DTCs are not output when rechecking for DTCs (Click here).
