DTC    B1625/22    Side Airbag Sensor LH Circuit Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The side collision sensor LH circuit (to determine deployment of the front seat side airbag assembly LH and curtain shield airbag assembly LH) is composed of the center airbag sensor assembly, side airbag sensor LH and rear airbag sensor LH.
The side airbag sensor LH detect impacts to the vehicle and send signals to the center airbag sensor assembly to determine if the airbag should be deployed.
DTC B1625/22 is stored when a malfunction is detected in the side airbag sensor LH.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR LH

  1. Turn the power switch off.

  1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

    CAUTION:
    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

  1. Interchange the side airbag sensor RH with LH and connect the connectors.

  1. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.

  1. Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.

  1. Clear the DTCs stored in the memory (Click here).

  1. Turn the power switch off.

  1. Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.

  1. Check for DTCs (Click here).
