DTC    B2060    ABS Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a malfunction in the electronically controlled brake system is detected. This circuit consists of the brake booster with master cylinder (skid control ECU) and seat belt control ECU. Signals are sent from the brake booster with master cylinder (skid control ECU) using the CAN communication.

  1. CAN communication system
  2. Power management control ECU
  3. Electronically controlled brake system
  4. Seat belt control ECU

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT:
This circuit uses CAN communication. Therefore, be sure to check that the CAN communication system is normal before performing inspection (Click here).

1.CHECK DTC OUTPUT (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)
  1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

  1. Recheck for DTCs.

    OK:
    CAN communication system DTC is not output.



NG
GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (Click here)
OK


2.CHECK DTC OUTPUT (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM)
  1. Check DTCs for the electronically controlled brake system (Click here).

    OK:
    Electronically controlled brake system DTC is not output.



NG
GO TO ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM (Click here)
OK


3.CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM)
  1. Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: Body / Pre-Crash / DTC.

  1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

  1. Drive the vehicle.

  1. Recheck for DTCs.

    OK:
    DTC B2060 is not output.



NG
REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU (Click here)
OK
