FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER (for Manual Seat) > REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

NOTICE:
After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal (Click here).



2. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD

  1. Disengage the 2 guides <A> as shown in the illustration.

  1. Disengage the 3 guides <B> and remove the rear No. 2 floor board.



3. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX
  1. Remove the rear deck floor box.



4. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD

  1. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the rear No. 3 floor board.



5. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).



6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  1. Press the headrest support button and pull up the headrest as shown in the illustration to remove it.



7. REMOVE OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER

  1. Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the foremost position.

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the outer seat track cover.



8. REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK COVER
  1. Disengage the claw.

  1. Separate the guide and remove the inner seat track cover.



9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seat.

  1. Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the rearmost position.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.

  1. Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the center position. Also, operate the reclining adjuster release handle and move the seatback to the upright position.

  1. Disconnect the connectors under the seat.

  1. Remove the seat.

    NOTICE:
    Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.



10. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

  1. Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

11. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE

  1. Remove the screw and vertical adjusting handle.



12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and clip.



  1. w/ Lumbar Support:

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 5 clamps and remove the front seat cushion shield assembly.



13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY
  1. Disconnect each connector.

  1. Disengage each clamp.

  1. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.



14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front seat cushion inner shield.



15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

  1. Remove the hook.



  1. w/ Lumbar Support:

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 3 clamps.

    4. Disengage the 4 clamps.



  1. w/ Seat Heater System:

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Unfasten the front seat cushion cover with pad as shown in the illustration.

    4. Disengage the clamp.

  1. Disengage the 4 hooks.



  1. for Passenger Side:

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 3 clamps.

    4. Disengage the guide and remove the belt warning occupant detection sensor.

  1. Remove the 3 hog rings.

  1. Disengage the 2 hooks as shown in the illustration.



  1. Disengage each hook and remove the front seat cushion cover with pad as shown in the illustration.

16. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

  1. Remove the 2 hog rings.

  1. Remove the 11 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover.
