FRONT LOWER BALL JOINT > INSTALLATION

HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.
  2. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.



1. INSTALL FRONT LOWER BALL JOINT ASSEMBLY

  1. Secure the front axle assembly in a vise.

    NOTICE:
    When using a vise, do not overtighten it.

  1. Install the front lower ball joint assembly to the front axle assembly with the nut.

    Torque:
    71 N*m{ 724 kgf*cm , 52 ft.*lbf }

  1. Install a new clip.

    NOTICE:
    Further tighten the nut up to 60° if the holes for the cotter pin are not aligned.



2. INSTALL FRONT AXLE ASSEMBLY
